Despite the allegedly futuristic approach to the collection, it actually patches the edgier of elements of a future, past and present.

Consistent black/blue/grey color palette, clean lines and silhouettes allowed room for creativity with the materials used for the collection, without ever compromising their great tailoring.

Balmain Men's Fall 2012 Collection

After the announcement delivered by Balmain in late April of 2011 that Olivier Rousteing would take over as the new creative director for the house, expectations have been nothing but high for this 25 year old.

Pretending Napoleon Bonaparte was an incredibly hip sex symbol with great hair as an 18 year old, you could say he was the star of Rousteing's show. The sex-charged house took an already safe style and made it just a bit more intimidating by making it just as sexual accenting broader shoulders, slim fitted trousers and unzipped the slightly-higher-than-ankle boots ... It's an issue of subtle dominant masculinity.
